Introduction-- So. Here's how it is going to work.

I'm going to let the blog world know about Buffalo (my current residence and hometown) and its local theatre. Because truth be told, it is thriving. Compared to other smaller cities, Buffalo is a diamond in the rock. The theatre scene somehow prevailed, where as Buffalo's major-city popluarity eroded along with the good ol' Erie Canal.

Who can really trust the Gusto now a days anyway? A few years ago they gave Finding Nemo 2 stars (shocking, I know. please contain yourself, Dori-lovers of 716.)

Well I'm offering a fresh approach.
I have extensive knowledge and experience in this field and you can plan on a truthful review of each production I attend. This includes high school shows. Yes, they may be safe from the Gusto's glaring eye, but with the quality of high school shows I see frequently, they deserve to be critiqued -- and praised, where it's earned.

Some theatre/live performances I plan to report on this month:
- The Fastest Clock in the Universe; Torn Space theatre
- That 1 Guy; Babeville
- Children of Eden; Springville
- Hedda Gabler; Irish Classical Theatre
- Pirates of Penzance; Wilson
- Sunday in the Park with George; Musicalfare Theatre
- Shakespeare on Trial, Iroquois
- Seussical; West Seneca East
- The Class; a foreign film
- Coraline; a 3-D film

As a warning, I have sarcastic tendencies...out of habit. I'll make it pretty clear though if I'm being that way. I'll even just end the paragraph with "(sarcasm)" if if begins to confuse people. Also, I may at times use what seems to be strange diction to you. This may include words like "folks" or "nation" or just generally lame words. This is for my own fun and amusement of writing a blog like this.

....let the shows begin
